HIGHLAND PARK, Mich. (WJBK) - A family has been haunted by a fatal hit-and-run that killed their loved one 23 years ago. Fox 2 is also following the unsolved murder of a father of two. Those two cases are this week's Michigan's Most Wanted.

DeAngelo Baker, 27, of Highland Park was in a home on Ford St. when someone pulled a gun on him and shot him in the leg. It happened Oct. 4. The father of two ran outside to try to get help and collapsed in a nearby driveway. He lost a lot of blood and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. He's still in critical condition more than three months later. His son and aunt was hoping someone will come forward with information to identify the shooter.
"This is a nephew, a brother, a grandson, a father who desperately needs your help right now," said Yvonne Marsh, the victim's aunt. "He can not speak for himself."
Fox 2 and CrimeStoppers are also seeking tips in a hit-and-run that killed Harold Carl Bodnar of Detroit. His nickname was "Doc." He was crossing Mack Ave. just east of John R when it happened back on Jan. 22, 1988. We're approaching the 23rd anniversary of the deadly hit-and-run. Bodnar's family is hoping someone will finally come forward or a tip might identify the killer.
