NORTHVILLE, Mich. (WJBK) - A young man is hit and killed by a green Honda SUV in Northville. The driver took off. The victim's friends tried to chase the vehicle themselves but couldn't keep up. Joshua Green, 25, died Saturday morning from his injuries.

It happened around 1am Saturday on Griswold in downtown Northville. Green was hit right in front of his friends who were walking on the sidewalk. Police are checking surveillance video from area businesses. One camera caught an image of the SUV involved. The victim was from West Bloomfield; he worked in the service industry. If you know someone who has a Honda SUV with front-end damage on the passanger side, call Northville police.
