Unique Tattoo Deal Available Friday

DEARBORN HTS., Mich. (myFOXDetroit.com) - Is the number 13 unlucky or lucky? Would you wear it around your neck or maybe on your arm? It depends on your point of view or the point of the tattoo artist's needle.

Friday the 13th this week proves to be lucky for customers at Michigan Tattoo Company on Warren in Dearborn Heights.

"We will be doing tattoos that have 13 in them and they'll be $13.00," said artist Raven.

Raven will give you a tattoo incorporating the number 13 from his page of designs at a "triskadekaphantastic" discount. Call it "ink-o-nomic" stimulus.

"They'll range from quarter to half dollar size," Raven said. "Anything from a butterfly to a skull."

If Raven seems familiar, you might remember him by his Obama tattoo. We asked him what about Obama inspires him. He answered, "Just (watching) him through the whole campaign and watching the momentum... Just a big supporter and just want to show it."

On Friday the 13th, piercings are also being offered for $13.00.
