(myFOXDetroit.com Staff Reports) - People don't forget. Especially if you were the Astros fan who jumped ship only to leave his girlfriend in the line of fire Monday night during a Major League Baseball game between the Houston Astros and Atlanta Braves.
Television announcers have deemed him 'Bo the Bailer,' since Astros third baseman Chris Johnson drove a foul ball in the direction of the couple sitting in left field, and Bo slid out of the way of the incoming ball at the last second, letting his girlfriend, Sarah, take the hit.
It was a matter of fight or flight for Bo. And for his split-second decision, he has been scrutinized.
One YouTube clip had over 61,000 views the morning after the game. At least two Facebook pages have been dedicated to Bo the Bailer with a comment from a 'Sara' that say "yall are being to hard on him! it didn't even hurt." One user posted a link to a Norwegian newspaper where Bo is the top story.
Bo's girlfriend, known as Sarah, took the blow from a ball she had not seen coming. In an interview with a visibly embarrassed beau, Bo says he was going to catch the ball, but lost track of it with the stadium lights.
