LOS ANGELES, Cal. - The big day is finally here for American Idol finalists Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery, but what songs they’ll sing in Tuesday night’s all-country finale performances remains a mystery.
Both Lauren and Scotty will sing three songs on the final performance show of the season, which begins at 8 p.m. EST on FOX. One of those songs will be chosen by their personal music idols. Idol Season 4 winner Carrie Underwood selected Lauren’s song, and country music icon George Strait picked one for Scotty.
Scotty and Lauren will also sing their favorite song from the season, and they’ll perform their debut single, which was selected for them by Idol producers. The rest, will of course, be up to America in the final vote of the season.
