  • Learn How You Can Help

FOX 2 is teaming up with The Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange to raise awareness about the need for homes for children in Michigan. Our stories feature children in foster care who need ‘A Place To Call Home.’

There are about 4,000 Michigan children waiting to be adopted – and every one of those children deserves a loving family. They are children who entered the foster care system and many will wait for years to be adopted. Sadly, others will ‘age out’ of foster care without ever knowing what it means to be part of a stable and permanent home.

FOX2 produces profiles of these children in partnership with the Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange (M.A.R.E.). The Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange is a program of Judson Center and is funded by the Department of Human Services.

If you want to learn more about these children looking for “A Place To Call Home” please contact the Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange (800) 589-6273 or mare.org/MARE.html
