A West Michigan preschooler was left alone on the bus after curling up on the floor under his seat and falling asleep.
WOOD-TV reports the driver parked her bus at Belding Middle School last week after drop-off, but didn't notice that the 4-year-old was still on board.
The driver was temporarily placed on suspension.
The Belding school district says the boy was alone for about a half-hour before someone spotted him trying to get off the bus.
His father, Raymond Boyd, says he feels badly the driver was suspended.
Boyd tells WOOD the driver is human, and "humans make mistakes."
He says his son is fine.
The superintendent says the bus driver made a mistake and has an otherwise excellent record.
