Kristin Wright

Kristin Wright is a general assignment reporter and weekend anchor for FOX 13. She joined WTVT-TV in March 2008.

Prior to moving to Florida, Kristin worked as weekend anchor and general assignment reporter at WHTM-TV in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Kristin spent four years in Central Pennsylvania, where she covered the Amish school shootings, the governor's race between Governor Ed Rendell and Pittsburgh Steeler Lynn Swann, and many very cold snow storms. Kristin was also known for her sensitive coverage of the homeless population.

In Harrisburg, Kristin received an Emmy nomination, a Salute to Excellence Award from the National Association of Black Journalists, and honors from the Pennsylvania Associated Press and the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters. Kristin was also recognized for her volunteer work with the American Literacy Corporation.

From 2001 - 2004, Kristin worked as morning anchor and general assignment reporter at WIVT-WBGH in Binghamton, New York.

Kristin began her career in television as a news writer at WDIV in her hometown of Detroit, Michigan.

Kristin graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a degree in political science.
