As a Michigan native, Leah grew up north of Detroit. She earned several broadcast awards while still in college and was the only Michigan State broadcast journalism student in her class to have a job waiting for her on graduation day.
Leah's stories have earned multiple Associated Press Awards and Michigan Association of Broadcaster Awards. She also played a role in several Emmy Awards, a 1st Place National Award from the Hometown Video Festival, and 1st Place Philo T. Farnsworth Video Competition Awards.
When she's not reporting for the 9 PM or 10 PM News, Leah enjoys boating, hiking and anything outdoors or on the water. She is always looking for an interesting story to share.
