Attorneys for Drew Peterson are trying to get a renowned pathologist removed from the witness list after details emerged regarding the autopsy done by Dr. Michael Baden.
Baden ruled that the death of Peterson's third wife, Kathleen Savio, was a homicide. He believes she was beaten and drowned.
Peterson's lawyers have filed a motion calling the procedure compromised. They say they can't find video of the autopsy and found the phone number of Girls Gone Wild producer Joe Francis in the autopsy report.
In pre-trial hearings, Baden testified that a Fox News Channel producer helped him move the body during the autopsy.
Baden claims that producer was also working on a story about Francis at the time.
State police have also surrendered the reports detailing their downstate search for Stacy Peterson, but they don't seem to say much.
"My glance at it showed it was pretty heavily redacted," Joel Brodsky, Peterson’s attorney, said of the 50-odd pages of reports state cops turned over in court Tuesday.
State police not only blacked out much of the information in their reports, but also secured an order prohibiting Brodsky from discussing what the documents entail.
