
Parents of Chicago Public School students are getting a letter Monday from new Chief Jean-Claude Brizard.
Brizard is telling parents that he hopes to spare classrooms from any budget cuts, according to the Chicago Tribune .
He also pledges to keep core class sizes the same.
However, Brizard says in the letter he'll have to make some tough decisions because CPS faces a $720 million deficit.
