Chicago's Most Wanted: Motorcycle Helmet Bandit

Most bank robbers tend to hide their faces using a ski mask or a hat and a bandana. That was not the case for the bank robber who hit a Southside bank in early April.

Chicago FBI agents say its going to be tough to identify this bandit since he was dressed in all black clothes and covered his face by wearing a black motorcycle helmet with the visor pulled down. Investigators believe he's responsible for robbing a Citibank branch in the 5600 South Archer Avenue on April 6th. They say this bandit was "potentially violent" because shortly after he entered the bank he pulled a handgun out of jacket pocket and waved it. He then announced a bank robbery and told the bank tellers to fill a small black sack with money. What concerns FBI agents the most is what this bandit said as he was about to leave the bank. According to witnesses, the bandit pointed the gun at the tellers and said "Boom! Boom! You're dead."

Despite the bandit's face being completely covered; agents are hoping surveillance video of the robbery will help them crack the case. If someone doesn't recognize the unique helmet the robber wore, they are hoping someone might recognize his mannerisms or the way he moves, which can be seen in the video.

Here is a description of what agents say this bandit looks like. He is described as: white male, 5' 8" - 5' 9", wearing a black motorcycle helmet and white gym shoes.
He is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, call police.
