CPS Students Want Better Food

Some high school students say you can't get good food at Chicago Public Schools and they plan to take their fight to Wednesday’s school board meeting.

The students are not happy about their daily diet of nachos, pizza, burgers and fries.

School officials say they're just giving kids what they want.

A coalition of student groups will urge the board to drop the current food service company.
Chartwells-Thompson has provided food for the district for nearly a decade.

The contract is worth $58 million a year.
