Atlanta Weather Forecast - Tuesday


Showers and t-showers should form again tomorrow afternoon as temperatures climb into the lower 90s.

TIMING: Showers and t-showers will begin to form in the early afternoon hours tomorrow and continue into the early evening as instability increases due to the heating of the day. Lightning, hail and strong winds will accompany the strongest of the storms with a few possibly going severe. The best time for the development of the storms will be sometime between 2pm and 7pm. After that the loss of daytime heating will put an end to the development of t-showers.

WEEK AHEAD: Not much change can be expected day to day this week as abundant moisture will combine with daytime highs near 90 to produce afternoon and evening showers and t-showers right through the upcoming weekend.

TROPICS: Tropical Storm Dolly has formed in the southwestern Gulf of Mexico and the storm will continue moving west onto the mainland of Mexico eventually north of Mexico City.
