
Michigan author Kristy Short has announced the launch of the first Operation Nice anti-bullying event of the new school year. The event will take place September 9 at 9 a.m. at Ojibwa Elementary in Macomb County.
Short will promote her anti-bullying themed book and campaign-Operation Nice. The book, Zanda Humphrey's Operation Nice, targets elementary school-aged children (K-5)-offering a "be nice" message and emphasizing the importance of unity among children to eliminate bullying. The event offers a reading of the book, interactive activities, and a lot of dancing.
