Ex-boyfriend: Anthony calm day before her arrest

There was another bombshell in the trial of a central Florida mother accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter. One of Casey Anthony's ex-boyfriends, responding to a line of questioning from her attorney, said Casey told him that she was harassed by her brother, Lee.

"Lee Anthony tried to sexually abuse her," Tony Lazzaro told Jose Baez. "What was your response to Lee Anthony trying to touch her?" Baez asked. Lazzaro responded, "Shocked." "Any discussions with Casey in reference to abuse by her father?" Baez continued. "I do recall her bringing up being disciplined by her father, but I don't recall what happened. From my knowledge, it seemed like discipline to me."

Judge Belvin Perry, Jr asked for clarity regarding Lazzaro's statement about Lee's behavior. "He tried to, 'feel her up," Lazzaro told the judge, but he could not recall when the alleged act occurred. "You said she said he tried to, 'feel her up.' Did you inquire, or did she say whether he was successful in feeling her up?" asked Judge Perry. "She said it didn't happen," Lazzaro replied. When asked if her father ever physically abused Casey, Lazzaro said Casey told him that she was hit as a child.

The jury was not present during Lazzaro's questioning.

Earlier in the day, another ex-boyfriend of Casey's testified that she was acting normal when she picked up him and his friends from the airport the day before she was arrested.

Ricardo Morales dated 25-year-old Casey Anthony from February to April 2008. He also testified Thursday that she and her daughter Caylee regularly stayed over at his apartment during that same time period.

Morales' testimony came a day after Anthony Lazzaro, another former boyfriend whom Anthony began dating in May 2008, testified he only saw Casey with her daughter a handful of times and that Caylee was never with Casey when she spent nights at his apartment. He said he stopped seeing them together at all in mid-June 2008.

Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in Caylee's death and has pleaded not guilty. If convicted, she could be sentenced to death.

Caylee was last seen June 16, 2008. Prosecutors said Caylee died from three pieces of duct tape being placed over her mouth and nose, while the attorney for Anthony has claimed the toddler accidentally drowned in her grandparents' pool.

Morales was the third witness to be called by prosecutors Thursday, following the conclusion of testimony by Lazzaro and a recall by the prosecution of Casey Anthony's father, George Anthony.

Morales said that he remained friends with Casey after their break-up and that the last time he saw her with Caylee was when they spent the night at his house the first week of June. But he said she later agreed to pick him and some friends up from a trip to Puerto Rico on July 15.

"She was the same as she always was," Morales said of Casey's demeanor that day. "Happy. Smiling. Just as usual. Same Casey."

George Anthony testified about confronting his daughter in late June 2008 about the disappearance of gas cans from a storage shed at his house.

He described how at one point he wanted to look inside the trunk of her car, which was parked inside his garage at the time. He testified she prevented him from doing so. He also said she cursed at him and eventually tossed the cans at him after retrieving them from the trunk.

Lazzaro testified under questioning from a defense attorney that Casey Anthony taught Caylee how to swim and regularly displayed affection for her daughter.

Prosecutors and defense attorneys have offered strikingly different portrayals of Anthony.

Under questioning from prosecutors, witnesses have testified that Casey Anthony did not seem upset after her daughter disappeared. While being cross-examined by defense attorneys, witnesses have testified that Anthony appeared to be a loving mother.
