A police standoff in Allen Park ended peacefully Sunday night. A man barricaded himself inside his home on Warwick Ave. and refused to come out. Eventually, he surrendered to police. We're told he shot and injured a woman inside the house in a domestic dispute. She is expected to survive.
SWAT team members surrounded the house while negotiators urged the suspect to give up. The immediate area was sealed off and some residents were not allowed to return to their homes during the standoff. The suspect is now in custody.
