WYANDOTTE, Mich. (WJBK) -

A popular downriver bar went up in flames, covering downtown Wyandotte in a cloud of thick smoke.

Lions and Tigers and Beers caught fire Sunday night around 7 p.m. We're told the flames may have started in the cooler area. Nearly 20 customers were forced to evacuate. Wyandotte Fire Chief Jeff Carley says no one was injured.

FOX 2's Amy Andrews reports neighboring building suffered smoke and water damage. Carley expects crews to wrap up their work later Monday morning.

Allen Park, Brownstown Township, Detroit,  Riverview, Rockwood, Romulus Southgate and Trenton were among the departments that responded to assist. Detroit firefighters also brought in a fire boat to pump water from the Detroit River onto the blaze.
