The Oakland County Phantoms semipro football team will challenge the Detroit Police Department Mustangs football team to a battle on the field in support of breast cancer research and awareness. The first of its kind game, Ball for the Cure, is happening on Saturday, June 23 at Stevenson High School in Livonia.
A portion of proceeds from Ball for The Cure will support breast cancer research at the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute. Cancer awareness information will be on-site including screening guidelines for both men and women.
