The Bayview to Mackinaw race kicks off July 13, but before the sailboats take off, Fox 2's Jessica Starr decided to see if she had what it takes to make the run.
Jessica made some friends over at the Bayview Yacht Club, and they were kind enough to take her out sailing for a day.

The Bayview Yacht Club has a big charity event happening this Saturday, June 30. It's called "Sailing Under the Stars," and it will benefit six local charities.
