
Detroit Filmmakers Douglas Akers and Jake Hall are setting to raise $45,000 to finish their documentary The Legendary Cobo.
This documentary has been in the works for three years, promising great star power stories and nostalgia for one of the most legendary concert venues globally - Cobo Hall.
The two gentlemen are currently working on a 90-minute documentary, entitled The Legendary Cobo, to enlighten the world on the history of the great structure of Cobo.
In the short time that the project has been underway, Akers and Hall have interviewed over 50 celebrities - including Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS, Sammy Hagar, members of Journey, actor Robert Patrick, Alice Cooper, Mitch Ryder, Rush, Detroit Mayor Dave Bing, Peter Wolf of J. Geils Band fame, Bruce N Lee (from the back of the KISS Alive! album), Ted Nugent, famed rock photographer Fin Costello (who shot very infamous covers for Ozzy Osborne, Rush, Bob Seger, etc.) and many, many more.
