Detroit Police crime reporting phone line down; Officers will take reports

DETROIT (WJBK) -
We have some important news to pass along from Detroit Police. Due to the severe storms Wednesday night, the phone system they have designated for citizens to report crimes is down.
Officers at districts and precincts will be taking crime reports until service is restored.
The Detroit Police Department is hoping to have the service up again soon.
