DEARBORN, Mich. (WJBK) -

Police in Dearborn say a classic vehicle was stolen from the parking lot of the Henry Ford Museum last week.

According to Lt. Doug Topolski, someone drove off in a Ford F-250 that was trailering a 1930 Ford Model A on June 26. The victim was in town from California and visiting the museum at the time of the theft.

Police say the truck has the California license plate: 6P95642 and has a white top with gold on the bottom and a NASCAR license plate rim. The trailer is described as a 2007 Iner Carrier Road Runner Trailer with the California plate: 4JT5217. The classic Ford is yellow with black/chrome fenders, a brown convertible top and a California plate: 670RHG.

Anyone with information is asked to call the HEAT (Help Eliminate Auto Theft) tip line at 1-800-242-HEAT or visit www.1800242HEAT.com. Up to $2,000 in reward money is being offered for information leading to an arrest and recovery of the vehicles.
