FireKeepers Casino in Battle Creek, Mich., owned by the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi (NHBP) and led by Tribal Council members Homer A. Mandoka, Jamie Stuck, RoAnn Beebe-Mohr, Dorie Rios and Tony Day will be hosting a job fair on July 16, and are looking to hire 300 additional thrill makers to join the FireKeepers team with the opening of the brand new resort-style hotel and event center this fall.

"Our 1,500 thrill makers are the ones who make FireKeepers the casino of choice," stated R. Bruce McKee, Chief Executive Officer for FireKeepers Casino. "We are looking for even more of the best in the region to take the Tribes vision of a four star hotel and make it a reality."

"Our thrill makers are welcoming, engaging, enthusiastic, and appreciative, and they take pride in creating a winning experience for every guest that walks through the casinos doors," said McKee.

You're a thrill maker if:

  • You carry yourself well – even while carrying up to 50 pounds. You're cool, calm and collected around the clock. And you enjoy providing a helping hand to make your guests' experience second to none.
  • You keep it together under pressure and always greet guests with a smile.
  • You can ensure the safety and serenity of all guests in and around the water, never throwing in the towel – unless somebody asks for one.

The job fair will be held at FireKeepers Casino's Bingo room on Monday, July 16, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Qualified applicants should bring their updated resume for a chance to participate in the onsite prescreens and interviews.

"We are proud to be able to offer team member benefits such as 401(k) with company match and paid time off," stated Renee Martin, Director of Human Resources for FireKeepers Casino.  "FireKeepers also offers medical, dental, vision and prescription coverage, life insurance, on-site medical clinic, workday discounted meals, discounted dry cleaning, and employee assistance programs."

FireKeepers will also be holding a company paid Table Games Dealer School beginning Monday, July 30 for qualified applicants
