Citywide Blood Drives at Four Locations in Troy Over Five Days Makes Donating Easy
To supplement critically low blood supplies in the area, the City of Troy is sponsoring a community-wide Red Cross Blood Drive starting Monday, July 16 and running through Friday, July 20.
The Community Affairs office at City Hall is now scheduling appointments at 248.524.1147. You may also sign up by visiting www.redcrossblood.org The access code for the site is troy. Walk-ins are welcome, but a photo ID or Red Cross Donor Card will be required at the time of donation. Donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh more than 110 pounds, and be in good general health to donate.
The following are the locations and times:
Monday, July 16: San Marino Club (1685 E. Big Beaver) from 2 - 8 pm
Tuesday, July 17: Athens High School Cafeteria (4333 John R) from 2 - 8 pm
Wednesday, July 18: Troy Community Center (3179 Livernois), Room 304-305 from 9 am - 9 pm
Thursday, July 19: Troy Community Center (3179 Livernois), Room 304-305 from 9 am - 3 pm
Friday, July 20: First Presbyterian Church (4328 Livernois) from 2 - 8 pm
