(WJBK) -

Thousands of mothers, fathers and caregivers from Michigan will gather in Lansing Wednesday at 10 a.m., to be part of the Million Mothers March.

The event celebrates breastfeeding mothers, and encourages all parts of our society to support mothers who choose to breastfeed.

Click here to learn more about the event.

Dr. Paula Schreck, M.D. is the medical director for breast feeding support services and the St. John Hospital outpatient breast feeding clinic.

Dr. Schreck joined Fox 2 Wednesday morning for a live in-studio interview. Click on the video player to watch.

This amazing community gathering has been planned entirely by volunteers with the group, Breastfeeding Mothers Unite. They have been working tirelessly for months to plan an engaging, strategic event that will show the public and policymakers that mothers, fathers, grandparents and caregivers support breastfeeding.

Date & Time: Wednesday, July 18th from 10:00-3:00 p.m. (come for any or all of the program!)

It's not just the styles that have changed with weddings over the years -- it's also the technology. Disposable cameras used to be the norm, but now there's an even simpler way for the bride and groom to get some candid photos of their special day.
