Man accused of trying to shoot ex, 2 others hurt

DETROIT (WJBK) -

An ex-boyfriend is accused of firing an AK-47. It's believed the intended target was his ex-girlfriend who is also the mother of his children.

Vincent Strickland was sitting outside his Huntington Streer home with his grandchildren Thursday afternoon when his neighbors started arguing. The woman lives down the street from her ex-boyfriend. The two began arguing over their three children earlier in the day. Police diffused the situation and left. Then, the ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend went down the street and started trouble yet again.

Good thing Strickland took his grandchildren inside because next thing he knew - 12 shots were being fired. The ex-boyfriend had come out of his house with an AK-47 and opened fire down the block, towards his ex. She didn't get hit but family friends sitting in a mini van were struck and rushed to the hospital.

A young man hit in the arm and belly. hit mother was shot in the leg. They are expected to recover but now police also known as the "baby daddy removal team" are searching for 21 year old Michael Donover. He was last seen in a 1998 red Dodge Caravan with the license plate "RIP CELL."
