ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WJBK) -

Two decapitated bodies pulled this week from the Detroit River and a creek have been identified as a 42-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman.

Allen Park police say the victims were Chris Hall and Danielle Greenway, both residents of the Detroit suburb. Officials from the Detroit and Allen Park police departments plan to talk to reporters at a news conference later Friday.

"I thought they really went on vacation," said neighbor Richard Dolliver, who lived across the street from the couple.

Police on Thursday searched the home. Neighbors tell FOX 2's Al Allen that a man was removed from the home. Police would neither confirm nor deny the report.

The U.S. Coast Guard recovered the torsos Tuesday. An angler later spotted body parts underwater and along a seawall not far from where the torsos were found.
