The Chicago White Sox activated right-hander Gavin Floyd from the 15-day disabled list in time to start against the Minnesota Twins on Monday night.
Floyd was placed on the DL for the first time in his career earlier this month with a sore right elbow. He is 7-8 with a 4.54 ERA in 17 starts this season and is 3-1 in his last four outings.
