FANUC Robotics America

currently searching for an Accountant in our Treasury group to join our finance
team. Primary responsibilities will include:
Ensure timely and accurate
recording and reporting of financial information related to all corporate cash,
investment, and currency matters.
Implement and maintain processes to ensure
accurate and timely financial data for treasury, divisional, and corporate
matters including the following:
Yen and other foreign currency tracking
Monitor cash flow by currency and legal entity
Daily cash management
(meet corporate cash requirements)
Optimal use of internal operating
systems
Review corporate foreign currency requirements and report preparation
including a recommended purchase/payment plan(s).
Review cash flow forecast
model(s) " including balance sheet and income statement forecasting as
needed.
Maintain accurate reporting of foreign currency
balances/purchases/payments, interest rates, and investment activities by
currency by legal entity.
Bank contact for all FANUC Robotics America
accounts.
Tracking and reporting of letters of credits.
Assist to minimize
cash requirements through optimal management of the A/R and Net
Inventory.
Generate regular and ad hoc reports regarding treasury and other
financial information.
Complete all monthly accounting and reporting
functions related to Treasury and other assigned areas of
responsibility.
Compile corporate tracking statistics on performance
measures.
Ideal candidate will have the following experience and
education:
Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field, or
equivalent work experience.
Understanding of cash flow
forecasting.
Understanding of foreign currency rates.
Ability to review
key financial information and provide summaries.
Exposure and understanding
of cash flow forecasting, cost accounting, account reconciliation, financial
statement preparation and generation of journal entries
Strong working
knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
