A sign welcoming people to the city of Dearborn is stirring up debate.

The city is known as the home of Ford Motor Company founder Henry Ford. But now the welcome sign says it's home to beauty queen Rima Fakih as well.

Some people aren't happy about that. In fact, opponents started a Facebook campaign to get the former Miss USA's name removed from the sign.

"Hundreds of people are complaining and demanding that the city officials remove the Rima Fakih sign and put up the Henry Ford sign," says Majed Moughni, who opposes the sign. "That's rightfully his. He built the city. He deserves to have his name on the welcome sign."

The welcome sign may not feature Ford's name, but his image has been part of the city seal for years.

A city spokesperson tells FOX 2 the new welcome sign for Fakih was in fact installed at the request of residents.
