Police: Teen driver facing charges in crash on Beck Road - Fox 2 News Headlines

A teenaged driver is facing charges after investigators say she fell asleep at the wheel and caused a serious crash on Beck Road near Pontiac Trail in Novi.

Police say the 18-year-old crossed the center line and hit a mercury being driven by a 24-year-old man from Jackson. Both drivers were taken to Botsford Hospital, but none of the injuries are said to be life threatening.

Investigators say the 18-year old is expected to be charged with careless driving.
