DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. (MyFox Detroit) -
Police in Dearborn Heights are investigating a homicide. A woman was found stabbed to death inside a home on Nightingale.
Initially police say the husband called to report a break-in and that his wife had been stabbed, but when they got there, his story just didn't add up, so they arrested him.
A woman at the scene told Fox 2 the victim was a wonderful person and mom.
"Very kind woman. She seemed to have a great relationship with her son... and treated all kids like her own. She was a really pleasant, pleasant lady," said Wendy Roberts.
We're told the victim is a 33-year-old woman.
Police weren't releasing a lot of information because they were still on the scene.
