All kinds of words have been used to describe Clint Eastwood's improv act on center stage during the closing night of the GOP convention: Senile, Genius, Candid, Old, Brilliant, Sad, Amazing, Funny, Captivating and on.
Think whatever you want about his unusual endorsement of candidate Mitt Romney.
Here's what I want to know. Are you talking about Mitt Romney and his acceptance speech or are you talking about Eastwood and his bit with an empty chair?
I am guessing the latter. That means the message that Romney was trying to get out during his acceptance speech is not being talked about this morning.
The water cooler cooler jibe is "did you see Clint last night?" versus perhaps "Romney seems like a man on a mission" or "what do you think of Romney's speech?" etc.
I wonder if Romney is feeling like his parade got rained on this morning?
So what are talking about today? And will any of this matter come election day?
