
Freedom Institute will host a career conference on September 6-7, 2012 designed to help get Detroiters back to work.
The career conference will take place at Fellowship Chapel Campus located at 7707 W. Outer Drive in Detroit. The career conference will include a Career Boot Camp, a Job Expo and a Senior Wellness Law Day.

Career Boot Camp -- "Getting Detroit Back to Work"
9 a.m. - noon
The career boot camp is for anyone who is ready to take their job search to the next level. Individuals will go through the career boot camp circuit and receive help from career trainers and experts in the following areas:
Resume Writing/Interviewing Skills

Online Search
Workers Rights
Registration for the boot camp begins at 8 a.m.
Senior Wellness Law Day
10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Seniors will receive information and tips on how to have a great quality of life into their golden years. A special Q&A session will be held to help seniors answer questions about probate, wills and other legal issues significant to seniors. Continental breakfast and lunch will be served to seniors.
Registration begins at 9 a.m.

Jobs! Jobs! Jobs! - A Super Career Expo "Getting Detroit Back to Work"
9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Jobs!Jobs!Jobs! hosted in partnership with the Detroit Branch NAACP, seeks to match opportunity with potential. Employers and educational institutions will be onsite for interested applicants. A Computer Cafe provided by the State of Michigan will be available to help with online job searches.
