There wasn't much activity at the polls Wednesday afternoon in the election of who will face off in November for the seat of Thaddeus McCotter. McCotter resigned his seat in Congress after failing to turn in enough valid signatures to get him on the ballot. Several members of his staff have since been charged with election fraud.

Now $650,000 is being spent for this special primary, determining the two candidates who will face off in November to carry out the remainder of McCotter's term.

Only about 10% of voters were expected to head to the polls in Livonia. Those who did vote are saying the election was not publicized well.
