Yates Industries in St. Clair Shores is looking to fill several positions. They include Manual Lathe Operator, Certified Welder and a CNC Lathe Loader Machinist.

These are all full-time positions.

Manual Lathe - Familiar with 3 and 4 jaw chucks, OD and ID threading, able to read blueprints, use all types of micrometers, close tolerances and surface finishes. Familiar with machining cold rolled steel, bronze, cast iron, aluminum and some heat-treated materials. (Days and Afternoon Shift)

Certified Welder - Qualified candidate must be Certified with prior experience in Mig/Tig welding of mild steel/aluminum/stainless steel. AWS D1.1 certification preferred. Knowledge and experience of welding rotary positioner is helpful. (Day Shift)

CNC Lathe Loader/Machinist - Familiar with setting up program and operating Mazak CNC Lathe. Able to read blueprints, use micrometers, thread gauges, calipers and inspection of all parts. (Afternoon Shift)
