Fox 2 is following tragic new developments in the search for a missing teenager. Nathan Tracy, 19, was reported missing after walking away from a hit-and-run accident in Pittsfield Township. Saturday morning, a maintenance worker from a nearby condo complex found the body of a young man believed to be Tracy. The body was found in a retention pond near the entrance to the complex.Pittsfield Township Police were immediately called and officers responded to recover the body and investigate the scene. Although efforts to positively identify the body were unsuccessful, at this time, it is believed to be Nathan Tracy. An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday. Family members have been notified. Right now, the cause of death is not known.

As Fox 2 has reported, Tracy was missing after he ran into a parked car at the Valley Ranch Apartment complex in Pittsfield Township Wednesday. There is evidence he was under the influence of something at the time. Tracy walked away from the scene and had not been seen or heard from since. His cell phone was found in the car. But there was no activity on his bank account or social media sites, which lead family members to fear for his safety.
State Police joined Pittsfield Township Police to search for the young man with a K-9 unit, helicopter and concerned family members and friends.
