WYANDOTTE, Mich. (WJBK) -

There are reports police in Wyandotte have found a 53-year old man who'd been missing from a local group home since Saturday.

Update 4:15 p.m.:

Jeffery Gale Harbin was found safe and in good health Tuesday afternoon at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital, Police Chief Daniel Grant said in a report to wyandotte.patch.com.

"Area hospitals had been checked during the weekend and there was no indication of him being hospitalized at that time,"Grant said.

Investigators say Jeffery Gale Harbin left the Hill Support Service Group Home on Oak Street to get breakfast on Saturday morning but had not been seen since.

Harbin, who is schizophrenic, has been reported missing in the past but has always returned home within several hours, according to police. Jeffery Harbin is 5-11, has blue eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing khaki pants, gray and blue t-shirt and white shoes with black and red insignia.

He was carrying a black backpack and left home riding a large-framed red bicycle.

Anyone with information about his location is asked to call the Wyandotte Police Department at 734-324-4438.
