The 2nd Annual Pink Fund Luncheon is a great way you can help support a metro Detroit charity working to make a difference in the lives of men and women fighting cancer.
In 2005, Molly MacDonald was between jobs when she learned she had breast cancer. Her cancer was treated successfully, but MacDonald wondered how many women like herself struggled to stay afloat financially while they were too sick to go back to work.
Her experience prompted her to found The Pink Fund, a charity that helps provide short term financial aid during treatment of and recovery from breast cancer.
You can help support the Pink Fund's mission at its second annual luncheon this Saturday. It happens at 10:30 a.m. at the Henry Hotel in Dearborn. Tickets start at $95.
