Anti-American protests in Muslim world reach Afghanistan

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
The violent anti-American protests sweeping the Muslim world have now reached Afghanistan, where hundreds of protesters rioted outside a U.S. military base.
About 800 protesters screamed "Death to America," burned cars and threw rocks at camp phoenix in Kabul - and thousands more have taken to the streets.
Police fired into the air to stop the crowd from storming government buildings.
The demonstrators were angry over a film posted on you tube that Muslims say insults Islam's prophet Muhammad.
The film also sparked violent protests at U.S. embassies in at least half a dozen countries.
There are also new questions about the assault on an American consulate in Libya that killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three of his staff members. FOX's Doug Luzader has the story.
