Police were on the scene at the Mobil gas station on Eight Mile near Southfield Road Monday morning.

Detroit police are looking for an armed gunman who they say killed a man at a gas station early this morning.
The incident happened at the Mobil in the 18000 block of Eight Mile near Southfield Road. Police say a man in his 50s was inside the station when another man walked in, opened fire and left.
Rescue units transported the victim, but he died before reaching Sinai Grace Hospital. His name was not released.
The suspect remains on the run. Anyone with information is asked to call Detroit police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
