EAST LANSING, Mich. (WJBK) -
A Michigan State University student who claimed he was beaten by student athletes is now facing charges himself.
20-year old Brandon Carmack was arraigned Wednesday in East Lansing on two counts of assault and battery, domestic assault and battery, filing a false police report of a felony and stalking.
In August Carmack told FOX 2's Roop Raj he was attacked by a group of students, including some he said were MSU hockey players, after trying to speak to his girlfriend who was ignoring him.

But after investigating, police now say Carmack was drunk and tried to attack his ex-girlfriend until her friends jumped in and stopped him. The incident happened outside a home no Beal Street in East Lansing. A judge set Carmack's bond at $10,000 personal recognizance.
