Detroit police search the waters along the Detroit River on the city's southwest side Thursday morning.
DETROIT (WJBK) -
Police say the body of a female was discovered in a canal along the Detroit River near Historic Fort Wayne.
Coast Guard officials say they received a tip call around 9:45 a.m. Detroit police, border patrol agents and rescue units arrived on scene shortly after and recovered the body around 10:30 a.m.
No further details were made available.
