In the United States, a person dies by suicide every 14 minutes. It is estimated that an attempt is made every minute, with close to one million people attempting suicide annually. It's an issue that hits close to home for us here at FOX 2. We lost our General Manger, Jeff Murri, to suicide in February of 2012. He was loved by all of us here at the station. Jeff was a champion of the community during his time here at FOX 2 and was so proud at what we did to make a difference. And so we ask you to join us, and help bring the issue of suicide out of the darkness and join us as we walk to save lives.
