Man, 22, fatally shot at Detroit gas station

DETROIT (WJBK) -

Police say a 22-year-old man was fatally shot at a gas station on the city's northwest side Thursday.

An employee at the BP gas station on W. 7 Mile Road and Rutherford tells police he heard shots fired around 9:40 p.m. and discovered the victim's body inside the station.

He had suffered a gunshot wound to the body and later died from the injury, police said.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are unknown.

There have been no arrests.
