It was supposed to be a fun night in the D for Corey and two of his friends, but one mistake behind the wheel ended with Corey sporting a shiner and his friend, Nick, nursing a sore neck. We've agreed not to use Corey's last name.

"They got out of their car, tore open our doors and hit me in the face," he said. "

The ordeal started in the area of East 7 Mile and Mitchell Street. It was Friday night, Corey and his friends were heading to a bar. He was looking for a parking spot, when he accidentally cut a car off. Moments later, he noticed they were being followed.  He tried to get away but got caught in traffic. The driver of the car he cut off earlier caught up to them. There were about six men inside. Corey says the guys didn't say anything or steal anything, they just started throwing punches.
