Police: Berlin Twp. man killed in hit-and-run accident

BERLIN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJBK) -
Police say a man was killed during a hit-and-run accident in St. Clair County early Friday morning.
St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon says 48-year-old Christopher Demrose of Berlin Twp. was walking on Hough Road, west of Berville Road, around 1:45 a.m. when he was struck by a passing vehicle that then fled the scene.
Demrose was transported to McLaren Hospital in Mount Clemens where he died from his injuries.
Donnellon says there is no information known on the involved vehicle. He's asking anyone with information to call 810-987-1711.
Berlin Twp. is located 40 miles northeast of Detroit.
