The meningitis outbreak continues to grow every day. Now more than 100 cases have been confirmed nationwide – 20% of those in Michigan.
22 cases have been confirmed here in Michigan. Two of those were deadly.
One was a 56-year-old woman. The other, 67-year-old Lilian Cary of Howell. She died in September, weeks after being treated with the contaminated shot. Her husband is left dealing with all this, while also wondering if he's been infected. He received the same shot from the Brighton clinic.
Only those who have received spinal injections with the potentially infected steroid – after July 1st – need to be worried. Only four clinics in Michigan received the shipments of the now recalled steroids.

Sabrina Gianino was found dead with a cord around her neck inside a Grosse Pointe Park home early Thursday morning. The medical examiner has ruled her death a homicide.
