Motor City Blight Busters “Bustup” abandoned homes

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (MyFoxDetroit) -
Motor City Blight Busters and Motor City Connect team up to restore some positive energy in Detroit.
Saturday, October 13, starting at 9AM the pair will begin demolition of six abandoned homes in northwest Detroit.
They invite everyone to come join. Volunteers will meet at Motor City Java House (17336 Lahser Rd. Detroit). Busting will go until 4PM.
Helpful items to bring for the bustup:
Old clothes you don't care about Comfortable, yet sturdy shoes Gloves (extras if you can) Large trash bags (again, please bring some extras to leave) Masks (sometimes the dust really flies) Additional items that would make their day great - axes, sledgehammers, large trash containers, etc.
Food and beverages will be provided throughout the day.
